About Spring Tooling

Spring Tooling was founded in October 1974 and was primarily set up to provide an exclusive precision tool making service to U.K. spring makers.

By 1980 this service had increased to an export market which now spans to over fifty countries around the world. With spring and wire forming tools as the core business, the company has been able to diversify into customer special application tooling, where a high degree of accuracy is required working in both High Speed Steel and Tungsten Carbide.

The company takes pride in its highly skilled workforce who are able to produce the very best from an ever increasing range of hi-tech machinery.

For cylindrical ground components modern C.N.C. machinery is used capable of automatically sizing outside diameters, bores, widths and lengths.

Spring Tooling have a range of Creep Feed Grinders ideally suited for producing precision grooves from 0.07mm (.003") wide in both high speed steel and tungsten carbide. Intricate forms can be tooled up in these highly efficient machines providing customers' special tooling requirements with guaranteed repeatability.

Using the very latest in fully programmable C.N.C. Form grinding machines Spring Tooling are able to grind and generate complex shapes to a high degree of accuracy.
